COVID-19 INFORMATION

We want you to be able to feel as safe and comfortable as possible during your holiday. If there is anything in here you are unclear or uncomfortable about, please do message or speak to us first as there may be something we can do to help.

If a change in government advice places stricter conditions on movement that affect you at home or on holiday in Devon, we will of course offer a full refund right up to your holiday start date. If you or any member of your household has suspected COVID symptoms or a positive test, please let us know and we will offer you a full refund at any time up to the start of your holiday.

CLEANING

We are taking the following precautions between every set of guests:

• Fully airing the cottage for several hours (if it feels a little cool on your arrival, this is likely why)
• Professionally laundering all bedlinen, towels and tea-towels
• Swapping mattress and pillow protectors for each stay and quarantining the spare set between stays, ensuring that they are quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours between each group of guests
• Meticulous cleaning of all surfaces in bathrooms and the kitchen
• Disinfecting surfaces and high-touch areas including doors, handles, light-switches, cupboard handles, remote controls etc.
• Using disinfectant spray on household furnishings that cannot be laundered

WHAT WE ARE NOT DOING

• We will not be ‘fogging’ the entire cottage with disinfectant after the previous stay unless the COVID-19 end-of-stay measures have not been complied with by the previous guests
• Each group of guests will be responsible for cleaning and puttng away their own crockery, cutlery and kitchenware
• We will not be adding extra ‘fallow’ days between bookings. You may be arriving on the same day as the previous guests have departed. By sticking to agreed arrival and departure times, you will give our change-over team the best opportunity the make the cottage clean and safe for you.
