The living room has double sliding doors opening onto the patio and looking out over the Aune valley (see the photo above). If you can tear yourself away from that view, there is a large flat screen television with Freesat digital TV, digital recorder and DVD player.

There is a large leather sofa that can seat 4 and two leather tub chairs along with a coffee table and a nest of 3 side tables. For cooler evenings in the winter months, you can warm up in front of the log burning stove.

The bookshelves are stocked with a range of board games and books, videos and DVDs – many with local links (two Agatha Christie novels were set on Burgh Island, 20 minutes from Greenlands).
