South Devon is packed with things to do for every weather condition at every time of year and for all the family. Greenlands is 20 minutes’ drive away from the coast and there are plenty of beaches catering to all tastes. Dartmoor National Park is also within very easy reach so if walking’s your thing, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

For shopping, museums and restaurants, Kingsbridge is 20 minutes’ drive away and Plymouth only 30 minutes. And the whole area is dotted with National Trust properties, farm activity centres and a whole range of other activities. Given we’re in the UK, it’s also good to know that there are loads of attractions perfectly suited to rainy weather.
